In Turkey, hunters must obtain Hunting Licenses that are granted after examinations, and they must deposit the specified license fees to the accounts of city directorates.
In our country, citizens who are over 18 years of age, who have arm carrying licenses, receive theoretical training on hunting and wildlife and successfully pass the exams are granted the license to hunt on condition that they obtain a hunting license and hunting permission card.
Hunting is carried out in private reserves, according to the current legislation; and in state and general reserves subject to the central computer system (AVBIS) determined by the Ministry, limited by yearly hunting quotas. In Izmir, there are hunting grounds / shooting clubs in almost every district.
Hunting aficionados can learn about the hunting quotas from the 4th Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of Nature Preservation and National Parks. Wild boars, foxes, wild hares, and rock pigeons can be hunted according to the quotas.
