Dalyan Kocakarı Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Çeşme, is a calm, peaceful and pleasant beach, 1.5 kilometers from Dalyan, in the northeast of Çeşme Peninsula. The public beach is a swimming and picnic location popular among the local population during the summer months. The Kocakarı Beach is located in Dalyan University Quarter, 7 kilometers from Çeşme town center, is fine sandy. Although pebbles can be seen in the first section, most of the sea floor is fine sandy. The water is fresh and shallow. There is a small facility by the beach where umbrellas and sunbeds can be hired. There are shower and toilet facilities. It is recommended that those who do not want to hire from the facilities should bring an umbrella for protection from the sun and a camping chair to spend a comfortable time.
