İbn-i Melek and Süleyman Şah Mausoleum

The mausoleum of Ibn-i Melek belongs to Izzettin Abdullatif, the famous commentator nicknamed 'Ibn-i Melek', who is the greatest name raised by Tire, Aydınoğulları's Başkent Kadısı, and also Mevlana Sayyid Nizamaeddin Efendi, Mehmet the son of Ibn-i Melek. The graves of Evliya Ali Efendi, a member of the Efendi and Alaybey family, are found. Another structure in the garden of the mausoleum lies in Tire Emir Süleyman Şah, son of Aydınoğulları leader Mehmet Bey, and his family members.


The history

There are three more tombs in the tomb of Ibni Melek. These belong to Seyidi Rabbani Mevlana Nizamettin Nevvare (h.797 m. 1394), Ibni Melek Abdüllatif Efendi's son Mehmet Efendi and Evliya Ali Efendi. The demolished mausoleum was rebuilt by Tire Municipality in 1956.
