Nesin Villages (Mathematics, Philosophy and Art Village) Activities
What do you Villages was founded in 2007 by one of Turkey's most important mathematician Ali Nesin. Over 500 students attend the Nesin Villages, which host visitors from all over the country. Nesin Villages, founded on the slopes of the Kayser Mountain, one kilometer away from Şirince Village in the Selçuk district of İzmir, attract attention with their nature-compatible structure. In Nesin Villages, education is provided by organizing activities in areas such as philosophy, art and mathematics, without being dependent on the curriculum, university entrance exams or any education system. The target audience of the villages, whose purpose is to teach young people to think, question, ask questions, and learn, are primarily high school and university students, but primary school students and researchers can also benefit from this.
