Uşakizade Latife Hanım Mansion Remembrance House

The mansion belongs to the family of Latife Hanım, wife of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and has a special value in terms of being the mansion where her mother Zübeyde Hanım lived in her last days. In mid-December 1922, Veterans' mother Zübeyde Hanım was brought to Karşıyaka by train and placed on a wicker chair and moved to this mansion of the Uşakizade family behind the station. The closest person to Mrs. Zübeyde, who was taken care of with great care, was Latife Hanım in this period. The mansion was known for its pine and palm trees in the garden, pool and windmill in ancient times. Later, it served as a Courthouse and a classroom.
