Neonteikhos Ancient Settlement

It is on the mountains in the north east of the Menemen Plain. Although there is no information about the settlement, the stone-paved ancient road, which is thought to be from the ancient period, and the short wall remains belonging to a castle, and some ceramic pieces are accepted as findings indicating that the city of Neonteikhos was here. It is one of the 12 Aiol cities counted by Herodotus.
