Lütfü Pasha Inn

The inn, which is located on Lütfü Paşa Street in İzmir province, Tire district, Yeni Neighbourhood, is a masonry building with an inner courtyard and consists of a ground floor and a single floor. The west façade portico of the rectangular courtyard is square, and all porticoes on the other facades were demolished on both floors. In some documents, there is the inn, including the Herald Inn (since it is from the Byzantine period), the Esir Khan in some, and the Dellaloğlu Inn (because the prisoners are bought and sold in this inn). There are lower and upper floor rooms. On the western façade, the downstairs vault covers are original and the first floor covering system was completely destroyed. The portico has arches and legs. The inn, whose entrance is from the east, has 37 rooms at the top, 24 rooms at the bottom and a stable for 100 horses. The entrance door and corridor on the east facade preserve their originality. The ground floor room doors are arched and the upper floor is flat lintel. Out of the 22 shops located outside of the inn, the shops on the exterior facing north were demolished and the road width was provided. The inn, which is quite neglected, is now private property.
