Kutu Inn
It is located in İzmir province, Tire district, Yeni Neighbourhood, Tahtakale square. There is also Kutu Inn among the buildings belonging to Yahsi Bey Complex. The complex was used as a museum for a while and was re-opened with the establishment of the new museum building. The Inn, which is located in Yeni Neighbourhood, Tahtakale Square and named as the Kütahya Inn in the records, is reached by stairs from the right and left. In addition, there is an opportunity to climb up via the umbilical staircase in the courtyard. The fountain of the Inn, whose upper floor porches were destroyed, could not be preserved, as well as the fountain outside. It has 30 rooms above and 18 rooms below. Located in the main bazaar of the city, the Inn is one of the important cultural assets of the city, although it has seen serious changes with the fires of 1857 and 1916. The Kutu Inn of Tire is located in Tahtakale Square and is from the Halil Yahşi Bey foundation. The Inn, which is the workplace of an important part of Tire Bazaar, has a nice plan with shops on all four sides. Especially the Grand Bazaar, that is the Arasta section of the eastern front, is very important in terms of explaining the seriousness of the concept of plan in the Ottomans even in the 15th century.
