İmam Birgivi Social Complex

Birgivi Mehmet Efendi Kulliye, which is named after the Islamic scholar İmam-i Birgivi Mehmet Efendi and is an educational school, is located right across the tomb in the Birgi cemetery. In 1998, a social complex was built by İbrahim Çiftçi, one of the notables of Ödemiş, on a structure that was destroyed before. The entrance, which takes the old type Seljuk-Ottoman madrasas as an example, is provided at the front door and opens to a large closed courtyard. There is a pool with a fountain in the middle and training rooms around it. Educational activities such as the Quran-interpretation were carried out. It is a very large and modern building with sections such as guesthouses and soup kitchens on other floors and at the back of the building.
