Sarı Ali (Fadılıloğlu) Mosque

The mosque, located in the eastern part of Tire district, in Istiklal Neighbourhood, Karagazi Street, is one of the 15th century buildings. While Defter-i Hakani was listed as Sari Ali in Şer'iye Sicili foundation accountancy and in Evliya Çelebi. It is listed as Fadılzade in the records of Izmir regional directorate of foundations, Fadıllıoğlu and Araplar Mosque among the public. Harem of the mosque, 6.80 m. X 6,80 m. measures. The transition to the dome is provided by pendants. The last congregation place has three sections. The mosque has a graveyard in its garden facing north. Seyyid al-haj Ibrahim Efendi, who is lying in the graveyard of the mosque, served as the trustee of the foundation until his death in 1812 (1227 H.). There are villages named after Sarı Ali, the builder of the mosque, in Isparta, Aydın Atça and Manisa Gördes.
