Yıldırım Beyazıt Mosque
The Yildirim Beyazit Mosque, located on the mosque street in Poyracık, Izmir, Kınık district, is an Ottoman period work. The mosque is square planned and has a hipped roof. Later, the arch gaps were closed. On the upper part of the arches, there are three decorative openings, two of which are drop-shaped and one of which is round. It is transported by marble consoles. On the keystone of the door arches, the acanthos leaf facing downwards and the decorations of the balcony exit bear Baroque influences. The harim has a flat wooden ceiling and a central cartridge Madolyon decoration. Windows are in two rows, top and bottom. The perimeter of the mihrab niche, the pediment of the window and the skylights on the mihrab walls are decorated with gilded iron and wrought iron with herbal composition. The upper glass parts of the windows are decorated with colored glass. The wooden installation of the sermon lectern is the hammer of attention. Its minaret sits on a hexagonal pulpit. There are niches on the surface of the pulpit. The hexagonal lug part provides the transition to the body. The transition to the balcony is provided by muqarnas. The outer surface of the minaret and mosque is plastered and painted so that the building material cannot be seen.
