Former Fire Department
The Fire Department, which is used as Ahmet Piriştina City Archive and Museum (APIKAM) today, is located in Konak District, İsmet Kaptan Mahallesi, Şair Eşref Bulvarı No: 1. The building was built in the early Republic period and architecturally bears the traces of the Republic period.
The history
The building was built as the Fire Department in 1932 in line with the measures taken after the Great Izmir Fire in 1922.
