Turkish Grain Board (TMO) Silos
TMO are located in Konak District, Umurbey Mahallesi, Liman Caddesi. The structure consists of 18 star silos of 125 tons each and 36 cylindrical silos of 500 tons each.
The history
It is a reinforced concrete structure in the form of a cylindrical high tower built for agricultural storage on the city's railway, port and industrial center in the historical process. Opposite the station building in Alsancak Turkey 's second generation was built in 1958 as one of the concrete silos.
