Kemerköy

Divided by streams on the southern slopes of Bozdağlar, Kemerköy is located on a plain on the crest of the hill. Local people refer to the region as Kemer tableland. There are also residents living here throughout the year. Known for its cool weather even in summer months, the plateau welcomes daily visitors with its lush green texture. There are mainly Anatolian chestnut (Castanea sativa) and walnut (Juglans regia) trees in the region. Kemerköy can be reached by minibus from the Birgi district of Ödemiş.
