Mavişehir Angalya Horn

The line from Çamaltı Tuzla business to the Gediz Delta Visitor Center is known as the salt pans line. It is an area where the famous dance of flamingos can be watched and where many birds can be witnessed. Swordbill (Recurvirostra avosetta), maple plover (Charadrius alexandrinus), fiyu (Anas penelope), gray duck (Anas strepera), and meadow pipit (Anthus pratensis) are among the bird species observed in and around the pans. In addition, salt pans house foraging fox (Vulpes vulpes) and coyote (Canis aureus) species. In the period when rainfall is low, some of the pans recede water and mud surfaces occur. During these times, more Shorebirds are observed in the area.
