Hairy oak (Quercus cerris), hairy oak (Quercus pubescens) scattered in the larch forests; In more humid areas, flowering ash (Fraxinus ornus) is found. The rocks in the area are Wild Life; caves are important habitats for many bat species. KBA constitutes the northernmost known distribution of the rare hyena (Hyaena hyaena) in the Aegean Region. In addition, caves in the area include the long-winged desert bat (Miniopterus schreibersii), the long-legged bat (Myotis capaccinii) and the globally endangered Mediterranean horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus euryale), horseshoe big bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum), horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum).
