Yenişakran Bozgöl is a natural and shallow lake located in Aliağa district. Although it is a small lake, it creates a habitat for birds, especially in Winter. In addition, it is a place where tired individuals coming from migration can stay for a short time. It dries up in the summer months after the winter months when there is little rainfall. Bird species such as coot (Fulica atra), spoonbill (Spatula clypeata), bahri (Podiceps cristatus), swamp swallow (Glareola pratincola), house swallow (Delichon urbicum), maple pincers (Charadrius alexandrinus) are seen in the area.
