Şirince

Located 8 km east of Selçuk, Şirince village is a village of population exchange and inhabited by orthodox Greeks until 1922. The civil architectural texture has been preserved until today. Because of its sloping land, the houses are lined up parallel to the slope and present a sequential appearance. Apart from the houses in the village, cafes and fountains also draw attention. Built in the 19th century, Aya Yani and Aya Dimitri Churches are only two of the historical structures of the village.
