Bergama Cubic Hammam

There is no inscription about the construction of the bath, which has a monumental value. However, it is known that it was built together with Taş Inn. It is stated in the foundation document dated 830 (1427) that it was built and endowed by Bedrettin Mahmutoğlu Hibetullah, who is known as Hatip. It was named Cubic Hamam because of the marble cube placed on the dressing pool of the bath. The cube, which belongs to the Hellenistic period, is currently exhibited in the Louvre Museum and its cover in the Bergama Museum.
