Kale District and Historical Bergama Houses

Kale Distirict is an urban heritage site where the neighborhood life continues inside the stone houses left by the Greeks. All the buildings remained from the Greeks who migrated during the exchange time. Some buildings in the quarter have been restored and operated as boutique hotels. Domuz Square, which took its name from the trade of pigs here during the time of the Greeks, contains a historical building called 'Kafeneon Attalos', which was used by Greeks as a social center and today it is operated as a restaurant.
