Zübeyde Hanım Maritime Museum

Built in 1987 on behalf of the city line and bearing the name of Atatürk's mother, Zübeyde Hanım, the ship was restored to serve as a museum that teaches amateur maritime after completing its life in passenger transportation in Istanbul, it was brought from Istanbul to İzmir and anchored in Karşıyaka beach where Zübeyde Hanım's tomb is located. Floating museum was opened on 13 March 2014 in order to keep alive the memory of Atatürk's mother Zübeyde Hanım, on the other hand, to teach young people about seamanship and sea love. In addition to historical photographs, ship materials with historical features are exhibited in the museum.
