Tire City Museum

The building, which was designed by the architect Can Egeli in 1955 and is the service building of the Municipality of Tire, has the architectural characteristics of the 'Early Republican Period'. With the restoration of the old town hall, the museum, which started to serve as the 'Tire City Museum' on 15.10.2014, was established with the works of donors in order to protect and promote the cultural identity of Tire and its surroundings. You may have had a meal and drink in the cafeteria section, went to a concert or watched a movie in a museum. But if you haven't shaved in a museum so far, you can do it in this museum. Because this museum is a living museum, production and activities are carried out in different fields from old handicrafts to old professions. For this purpose, an old barber shop operates in the museum.
