Izmir Trade History Museum

Izmir Trade History Museum was established in 2003 in order to bring together the identity of the city, its trade and cultural history, along with the archaeological and ethnographic works inherited to the present day, with people of Izmir and history lovers. In the museum, you can see important works of the Mediterranean trade from the Middle Bronze Age to the present. The exhibited Izmir city model is one of the original works. The works of the museum emphasize the place and unique position of İzmir in Mediterranean culture.
