Penetti Mansion
Located in Karşıyaka Cemal Gürsel Street No: 338, the Mansion was built in the 1930s by Armando Penetti on behalf of the Italian Penetti family residing in Karşıyaka. While the mansion was being built, materials were also brought from Italy and a palace in Venice was taken as an example and it was built loyal to that palace. During his family time, he was engaged in the trade of machinery and machinery materials and also in the brick business and they still live in Izmir. Penetti Mansion functions as a kindergarten today. The main entrance of the building is provided by an iron door with two wings enclosed in a round niche in the north direction. There are two rose windows in a round arched section just above the door, protruding from the facade. There are narrow and high window and door openings in the sections extending in the east-west direction. The eaves are covered with wooden material and are carried by wooden consoles. There is a balcony opening to the north of the winged part. There is also a camellia made of wood. Above the entrance door, there is a spectacular part designed as a tower.
