Ege University Centenary Agricultural Machinery Museum

Established in 1981 within the Ege University Faculty of Agriculture, the museum coincides with the 100th anniversary of Atatürk's birth, 'The Centenary Agricultural Machinery Museum' was established to shed light on the technological transformation of the past history of mankind developed in the areas of agriculture, is the only example of its kind in Turkey. In the museum, it is possible to see various agricultural tools and equipment, starting from the simplest seed planting tools, wooden artifacts, to steam tractors, the first examples of mechanized agriculture. The first seed planting tools made of wood and used by pinning are actually Anatolian farmers. After a long period of time agricultural mechanization gained importance as a state policy, modern tools replaced them after a while.
