Odemis Birgi Cakiraga Mansion Museum

It is known that, the construction of Çakırağa Mansion, one of the rare mansions whose architectural style unique to the Aegean Region has been preserved, was started in 1761 by Şerif Ali Aga. However, experts also state that the rich, colorful and ornamental style of the mansion is dated to the first half of the 19th century. The mansion, which was used as a residence until the middle of the 20th century, was later transferred to the Ministry of Culture. The renovation of the rather worn mansion began in 1977, and some of the houses around the mansion were expropriated in 1983. It was opened to visitors in 1995, after the completion of its interior arrangement. The mansion, which has an inner garden, is entered through two large wooden doors. On the ground floor covered with stone plates, there is a maid, a guard, a reception place, a barn and a barn. The staircase with handrails extending up from the ground floor is wooden. There are five rooms and a toilet on the mezzanine floor, which has a low ceiling compared to the other floors and is used in winter. From the middle floor hall, you can go up to the upper floor with a wooden interior staircase, which is used in summer. The upper floor has an open sofa and a long rectangular plan just like the middle floor. The ceiling and walls of the upper floor are decorated with rich plant and fruit motifs and city panoramas.
