Inciraltı City Forest, which is the first urban forest of Izmir, is located in Yenikale Cape, where nature and the sea meet. Inciraltı City Forest offers its visitors the opportunity to enjoy sports, sightseeing and picnics. There are resting areas, bridges, walking and cycling paths in the forest. In the City Forest, Inciraltı Disabled Education, Culture and Art Center Garden also provides service.There are seating and playgroups in an area of ​​7,000 square meters aimed at the use of disabled individuals. Since 2017, the Izmir Youth Festival has been held in the forest during the week that follows May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. The urban forest has 620 thousand square meters of open space.
