Smyrna Square
It is the famous square of Smyrna, the first settlement in Izmir. It hosts public events. Various concerts are held in Smyrna Square. Free events are usually organized on holidays and special occasions. The square is located right across the Smyrna Ancient City excavation site, where archealogical research is carried out on historical remains from ancient times. In the middle of Smyrna Square, there is a column-shaped monument symbolizing the area's historical significance.
