Türkan Saylan Cultural Center was opened in 1997. It is one of the most active art centers of the city and has an important place in Izmir culture and art life. The fact that it is located in Alsancak, the city's entertainment and cultural area, further increases the importance of the center. The cultural center hosts events such as theater, concerts, talks and dance shows. There are also courses for children, youth and adults. The 3/A hall of the cultural center has 30 seats and has barcovision equipment. The walls of the 3/B hall are covered with mirrors, and the dance hall used for dance and ballet has an area of ​​60 square meters. Painting and sculpture workshops are held in Hall 4/A. 30 trainees can work in this hall at the same time. The 4/B hall, used as a cinema and editing workshop, has a capacity of 60 people and has barcovision, camera and editing equipment. Benal Nevzat Hall has a capacity of 108 people and has a stage, backstage, sound and light room.
