Konak Square

Konak Square, one of the most beautiful starting points for exploring Izmir, is one of the symbol squares of Izmir, along with Cumhuriyet and Gündoğdu squares. The square is located at the entrance of Kemeraltı Bazaar. Izmir Clock Tower, the symbol of Izmir, Konak Yali Mosque, the Government House and the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Building, are located in the square. The square hosts events organized on special dates such as New Year's Eve and the Liberation Day of Izmir.
