Atatürk Stadium

Atatürk Stadium is the biggest Olympic stadium in Izmir. Built in 1971 for the Mediterranean Games, the stadium was restored for the World University Summer Games in 2005. This stadium is used for football matches of Altay SK, Karşıyaka SK Göztepe SK and Izmirspor teams and for atheletics competitions. With a seating capacity of 51,337, this is Turkey's second largest Olympic stadium.
