Göztepe Gürsel Aksel Stadium, which is the facilities of Göztepe football team, was built in 1925. The stadium, which was rebuilt in 2017 with a design in accordance with the criteria of UEFA and Football Federation, was opened with Beşiktaş match on 26 January 2020. The stadium, which has become one of the symbols of Izmir, offers versatile service with its entertainment centers, sports museum, exhibition areas, food and beverage areas and parking garage.
