International Beef Festival
It is an event organized by Konak Municipality to introduce the culture and traditions of Turkish citizens of African origin living in the Aegean Region. Dana Feast, a cultural tradition belonging to Afro-Turks; It represents the awakening of nature. It is also celebrated as a symbol of gratitude and fertility. The Afro-Turks, who were brought from Africa and settled in various parts of Anatolia during the Ottoman Empire, celebrated this tradition until the first years of the Republic. The event, which was celebrated again in 2006 after a break, was held for the 13th time in 2019.
