Alsancak Train Station Building

The façade architecture of the steep-roofed Gothic-style Alsancak Station is influenced by the revivalist tendencies that existed in England at the same time. In addition to being a station that runs along the rails, Alsancak Station also opens to the station square, which resembles a small English town with its church, post office and clock tower, reflecting the concept of the British railway stations of the period. The rectangular building is covered with a hipped roof. Various rooms are lined up in the corridors around the entrance hall.
