Çarşı Hoca Ali Mosque

Since the inscription of the mosque in Urla district has not survived, the date of construction is unknown. It is thought to have been built in the 16th century based on the building style. It lost its characteristics to a great extent during the repairs made in the 19th century.

The General Directorate of Foundations repaired the mosque in 1975, but it was severely damaged in the 1992 earthquake. Evliya Çelebi mentions this mosque as 'a mosque with a leaded and masonry dome that has been made of teferrucgah sycamore alis and a bath in the bazaar.'

The mosque was built of cut stone and brick in an almost square rectangular plan, and it was covered with a central dome. There is the last congregation place in front of it. There is a minaret with a round body and a single balcony on a cut stone base.
