Ödemiş Museum

The museum was established on the land donated by Mutahhar Başoğlu, an antiquities collector from Ödemiş. In the museum, there is only one exhibition hall displaying archaeological and ethnographic artifacts and coins covering the periods from the Early Bronze Age up to the Ottoman period. In the Archeology Department, finds from some ancient cities in the surrounding area are exhibited. In the Coins Section various examples of coins dating back to the Lydian and Persian periods to the Ottoman period are exhibited and in the Ethnography Section artifacts belonging to the Ottoman and early Republican eras are exhibited.
