Izmir History Design Workshop

You are now at an important point of the walking route starting from Konak Square and continuing along Anafartalar Street, extending to the Ancient Theater and Kadifekale through the Synagogue Area, Smyrna Agora and Hatuniye Square.

This historical residence, where Izmir History Design Workshop operates, was donated to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality by the children of Fatma and Mustafa Hasdemir. After the restoration made within the scope of the Izmir History Project, it opened its doors again as of February 2015.

The Design Workshop is located in the heart of the Izmir History project area in Pazaryeri Neighborhood, one of the oldest quarters of the city. Here, the municipality has the opportunity to contact the residents directly. With the work carried out, it is aimed to solve urban problems with the design touches based on consensus.
