The Alaçatı Herb Festival, which was organized for the first time in 2010 and 10th time in 2019. At the event where local producers introduced the herbs of the region with the stands set up on the streets of Alaçatı; edible herbs grown in the nature of Alaçatı and Çeşme, various foods made from herbs, handcrafted products and souvenirs are offered for sale. Various cooking workshops by famous chefs at Alaçatı Herb Festival, which has been attended by hundreds of thousands of visitors and has two awards ('Most Successful Festival' by Shining Star Award and 'Honor Award' by İzmir Culture and Tourism Directorate in 2017). The Festival informes visitors about biodiversity herbs through various conversations. In the festival, which aims to introduce herbs unique to the region, re-enter the forgotten dishes into the kitchens and reveal the diversity of herbs; entertainment, show and flavor feast attract great attention by visitors.
