The artist, born in 1952 in Akhisar, graduated from the Painting and Graphics Department of Buca Educational Institute in 1972. She taught at various schools in Izmir for 23 years. She has held 25 solo exhibitions and participated in international art fairs, juried exhibitions, and numerous group exhibitions in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. Her works have been displayed in competitions held by institutions such as the State Painting and Sculpture Exhibitions, DYO, and Şefik Bursalı. Since her student years, the artist has worked on abstract figurative art, using the acrylic technique. Her solo exhibitions have primarily focused on themes like human relationships, time, placelessness, the relationship between objects and time, and moments within time.
