Within the scope of the program, the Izmir Tourism Hygiene Board was established with the cooperation of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Izmir Foundation.
The Board formed by the representatives from the tourism industry and scientists determined the hygiene standards that must be fulfilled to carry out tourism services in a healthy way. Businesses that meet these standards are entitled to receive the Orange Circle Certificate.
