The GoGreen project is a 24-month environmentalist initiative co-funded by the European Commission, under the Directorate Education and Culture. The project is developed and implemented by an international consortium, which the İzmir Chamber of Commerce is a part of.
The main objective of the project is to raise the environmental awareness of entrepreneurs and managers and to encourage them to engage in environmentally responsible practices and operations.
The project focuses on the delivery of a personalized “Green Training Programme”, aiming to improve the knowledge and the skills of the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) related to the effective introduction and management of green business practices.
The Green Business Bureaus will offer consultancy and certification services to European SMEs in order to turn themselves in to “Green and Smart Businesses.”
