Turkish State Railways Selçuk Çamlık Open Air Steam Locomotive Museum

The museum was opened on September 28, 1991, to appreciate the steam locomotives, which are the symbol of the railways, and to pass the railway heritage to the next generations. There are thirty steam locomotives made in England, France, America, Sweden and Czechoslovakia. Also, one of only two remaining wood-powered locomotives in the World can be seen in the museum. The station, which is located in the museum campus, where various railway vehicles and equipment such as cranes, water managers, passenger and freight wagons are exhibited in addition to locomotives, was built in 1890. There is also a section in the Çamlık Steam Locomotive Museum where photographs of Atatürk taken during train travels are exhibited.
